Young Earth Shapers appear in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage in Magma Cone. They are smaller versions of the normal Earthshapers and wear blue pants. They only can be charged, and will run away from you if you don't hit them. When Spyro is at a distance, the Young Earth Shapers will make hand motions, urging him to come closer.
