Armed Theives are a type of Theif that appear as an enemy in Shady Oasis. Unlike most of the other types of Theieves, they do not run away and can attack Spyro. They are dressed in red and wear a turban, as well being armed with a curved sword.
There is also another type of Armed Theif that is armed, which is blue and additionally uses a shield.
