Death Hounds are reptomammalian Animals that only appear in The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night. They usually attack Spyro by ramming him in a blink of an eye, so be careful not to get surrounded.
Breeds
One breed of Death Hound are seen under the command of the Apes during the raid on the Dragon Temple.
Another breed of the Hound are wild and reside in the Ancient Grove, where they have nothing to do with the Apes.
The third kind of Death Hound reside in the Mountain of Malefor, equipped with saddles as a sign that the Apes are riding them as mounts.
