The Grublins are the servants of Malefor. They first appear in The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon.
They serve as soldiers for Malefor's dark forces, and are replacements for the apes.
Like the Apes, there are a variety of these forces: the smaller common variety, and the bigger Chief Grublins.
The chief grublins are the big ones, the small ones surround you and defeat you... they can go under the ground and carry spears
Grublins however, look like mutant flies.
Trivia
- Their names are a pun on the word 'goblins' and 'grubs'.
- Coincidentally, a common enemy from the Banjo Kazooie series is called "Grublin" as well.
