Skylanders who glow when placed on the Portal of Power and have special powers.
Gameplay
Lightcore Skylanders do not have Wow Pow upgrades, can wipe out all enemies in one area with their flash bombs, and are only allowed to choose 1 upgrade path. Giants don't necessarily count despite having light-up effects.
