Story
The Dark Master was the first purple dragn to exist. He mastered many elements and was taught by the elders. But his power did not know how to stop, it just kept growing. When he didn't stop the dragons exiled him. The Dark Master built a new fortress on the Mountain of Malefor and built a army of apes. He taught the apes how to artifically use the power of the gems, which was the dragon's lifeforce. His malice was so great that it spilt the earth and created a mountain which is now known as the Well of Souls.
He now seeks to escape the well of souls and wreak havoc upon the land.

One day, Gaul, (a faithful servent of the dark master) and his dark army of apes, go to the dragon realms and try to destroy all the dragon eggs, thinking that the prophacy of the purple dragon can be stopped by breaking its egg, afraid that the purple dragon can stop The dark force's evil deeds. Gaul fails to find the egg because Ignitus Took it so he decides just to destroy the rest and take an egg for himself. When the dragon was born, Gaul blindly names the dragon "Cynder" and started training her. The darkness and evil in her heart made her strong, powerful and huge.
