Explosive Chests are the dangerous kind of containers that are filled with fireworks. When Spyro come across thse gem-filled chests of fireworks, he will need ignite them and stand back to avoid getting hurt. The resulting explosion will send a shower of gems sky-high, but it can hurt Spyro if he stands too close. Also you can charge it, but if you don't believe it, then just try it yourself.
