Gear Grinder Thieves are a type of Gear Grinder. Like all Gear Grinders, they are obsessed with tormenting the Electrolls and only appear in the world Hurricos of Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage. They are part of an orb challenge, Spyro must power some generaters by spitting the thunder stones the thieves are stealing back into the right place, this can only be completed if Spyro also kills the 10 Thieves while doing this.
