| A [[Riptoc]] who hated Dragons, Ripto had enlisted Crush and Gulp at [[Molten Crater]] in order to help him wage war on their race, before he was accidentally warped to [[Avalar]] by [[Hunter]]. Upon arrival, he set about enslaving the worlds, despite the Superportal being shut down by the quick thinking of [[Zoe]] and [[Elora]], who scattered the orbs across Avalar.

| Ripto's reign brought disaster to Avalar, and he was eventually defeated by [[Spyro the Dragon (character)|Spyro]], who had been summoned by the Professor from a portal in [[Glimmer]].

| During Ripto's boss battle, he magically created a mechanised version of Gulp and a large machanical bird for protection.
