In order to earn one of the orbs in Breeze Harbor, eight of these Spiked Mines must be destroyed. Six of them somersault around in lava pools, so it'd be impossible to pose a close-up attack anyway. Only ways to defeat them is by using the cannons found in certain places or the superflame.

Template:Characterbox Spiked Mines can be found in Breeze Harbor, which resemble large metal floating balls with faces on them that can extend and retract spikes whenever Spyro gets close. It is believed they were created by the Land Blubbers; the Land Blubbers littered all of these Spiked Mines.
