Template:Characterbox Armed Thieves are a type of Thief that appear as enemies in Shady Oasis. Unlike most of the other types of Thieves, they do not run away and can attack Spyro. They are dressed in grey and wear a turban with a red jewel, as well being armed with a curved sword. These theves however, do not steal eggs unlike their blue counterparts.

There is also another type of Armed Thief, which is purple and additionally uses a shield. They appear the same as the Armed Thief but are taller.

If fed an apple from one of the trees, they will pick it up, devour it and rub their stomach while making an "Mm mm" noise to show enjoyment.
