Template:CharacterboxShort Idols are the smaller but common idol monsters in Idol Springs. They are related to the Tall Idols. They are armed with metal shields that are impervious to Spyro's normal firebreath, but can be defeated by charging at them. Though they don't move, only turning to face Spyro. They wave their kebab sticks from behind their shields to hurt Spyro.

Trivia:
- In the Reignited Trilogy, their shields are replaced with metal pan lids, keeping with the theme of the enemies in the level wielding weaponized food. They also have grass growing on their heads, plus white orbs for eyes.
