The Duck's floatie appears to be sentient, as there is a funny instance where as the Duck looks around in idle (if Spyro has not yet approached them), the floatie turns its head at its wearer with its mouth wide open as if to try to eat the Duck before quickly reverting back to its motionless state when the Duck turns his head in its direction.
