When first seen by the player from a distance, they appear to be a common seashell, identical to those around the Seashell Rhynoc. When Spyro approaches it, the Seashell Rhynoc will charge Spyro using the shell around them for armour. The first time you damage the Seashell Rhynoc, it will only destroy the shell around them. Now the Seashell Rhynoc will use its shovel to hit you until you hit it a second time, killing it.
