Wizard Riptocs are a type of Riptoc seen in the Thieves Den. They are the enemies of the residing friendly thieves.
These are the only enemies that are not affected by any of Spyro's breathes; instead he must use his Wing Shield ability to reflect their magic back at them. Once defeated, they never respawn again.
