- November 16, 2023: Spyro and Elora are announced to be coming to Crash Team Rumble Season 3 as playable characters.
- October 13, 2023: Microsoft has acquired Activision Blizzard, making them the new owners of Activision's game IPs, including Spyro the Dragon.
- September 5, 2023: Ripto is coming to Crash Team Rumble Season 2 as a playable character.
- January 18, 2022: Microsoft has announced their deal to acquire Activision for $69 billion dollars and is set to obtain complete ownership of the Spyro franchise on July 2023.
