The Mountain of Malefor also known as the Well of Souls, this was the location that the Dark Master's first fortress as well as his prison.
When Malefor was banished from the Dragon Worlds for his unstoppable growing of power, he created an army of apes and set up a fortress. It is said that Malefor's sheer malice cracked the foundations of the Earth, causing the mountain to form.
