But there victory was short lived as Malefor spoke to the City and announced the reserection of the destroyer. A large creature then climbed out of the large volcaino in the distance. Malefor then announced that the destroyer had begun its journey to form the ring of annihilation that would bring about the end of the world. Just before the destroyer compleated the ring of annihilation Spyro and Cynder opened the flood gate stopping the destroyer in its tracks. The destroyer then lost its left leg trying to climb out of the water. After Spyro and Cynder had destroyed the heart of the destroyer Malefor, using some dark magic, somehow took control of the destroyer himself as it crawled its way towards the belt of fire. When the destroyer had reached the volcaino that it had started at it had compleated its journey and so decended back into the core of the plannet.
