A Game Trap is a time when your game accidentally traps you from traveling anywhere in the game except a small area.

This occurs alongside glitches that prevent Spyro from entering portals, or physically trap him in such a way that the game must be reset to escape. For example, if he falls through a water-filled area and is unable to swim out. Glitches like this are usually a nuisance at worst.
