Template:Characterbox Jackals[1] are dog-like enemies that are only found in the Haunted Tomb.
They are dark blue, and also wear green eyes, but wear chest-plates to absorb flames, and are usually statue-like when they blink and look around. If Spyro gets too close, the Jackals will come alive and attack him, as they start charging toward him and attempting to poke him with their pointed ears, and will only be killed by charging at them, due to the chest-plates they wear to absorb flames.
