An aurora is a natural display of light in the sky that appears as green. It typically appears close to the north and/or south poles.
The level Tree Tops has a sky that is constantly dark due to the trees and are only lit by the aurora.
Trivia
- Tree Tops was only known to be lit by an aurora by the time of Spyro Reignited Trilogy, made in 2018. The technology for the original game Spyro the Dragon, made in the 1990s, was not advanced enough to create a truthful aurora.
