Dragonflies are a crucial part in the dragon society. Not highly-regarded among fellow Spyro fans, dragons would be nothing without their dragonflies. Literally! Dragonflies indicate the health of their dragons. Consider Sparx. If Spyro takes no hits, he is yellow. One hit is blue, two hits are green, three hits (if using Moneybags' upgrade in A Hero's Tail) are red, four hits Sparx is killed. One more hit and Spyro is dead. In Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly, Ripto scatters the dragonflies across the Realms with a misfired spell, yet leaving the young dragons vulnerable. Spyro must capture all 90 dragonflies with his bubble breath.
