Snail Elephant

From the Spyro Wiki, the Spyro and Skylanders encyclopedia
Revision as of 15:54, July 28, 2020 by >Slylanders (Added some detail about their designs from the original and remake, and a bit of trivia.)

Template:CharacterboxSnail-Elephants are native residents in Mystic Marsh. They are a combination of a snail and an elephant. From a distance, they appear as a shell with tusks and a trunk protruding out of it. But when approached, they become large elephants and charge over Spyro. The only way to defeat them is to flame them.

In the original game, the elephants have a simple design with lean legs. While in their shells, the shells seem to be a little big until they emerge and the shells shrink a bit. In the remake, they are more hefty in built with some hair on their heads. The shells retain their size whether the elephants are inside or outside of their shells.

Trivia

They are the first elephant enemies in the series, with mammoths being the second.

In the Reignited Trilogy, their appearance slightly resembles Tantor from Disney's 1999 film, Tarzan.
