Breeze Builders appear in the game Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage. Their best-known appearence is as allies in the level Breeze Harbor, where they are being attacked by the Land Blubbers, however, later they appeared earlier as enemies when Spyro helps the LandBlubbers fend off a Breezebuilder assault on the Land Blubber homeworld, Zephyr.

The fight between Land Blubbers and Breezebuilders mirrors the real life battle between Grubs and Birds. The Breeze Builders found in Breeze Harbor resemble pelicans, a type of bird usually found at the beach.
