Activision, otherwise known as Activision Publishing, Inc., is an American video game company and game publisher which was founded in 1979. Since 2008, Activision has owned the rights to the Spyro franchise, with The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon being their first published Spyro title. They also published every game in the Skylanders series, and in 2019, they published Spyro: Reignited Trilogy.
