The Mountain of Malefor, also known as the Well of Souls, this was the location that the Dark Master's first fortress as well as his prison.

The Mountain of Malefor is a mountain were Malefor was exiled by the dragon elders when he had grown evil for power.He soon then created an army of apes to defeat the dragons and create a world of terror..hence making the mountain his home.Then when the Mountain cracked,making a pit of dispare,were all the unruly soles of the world go to rest.On the night of Eternal Darkness,all these soles are freed from the pit and walk freely amongst the halls of the mountain.Then it was also called the Well of Souls
