Jackals are dog-like enemies that are only found in the Haunted Tomb.
They are usually statue-like, but come alive and attack Spyro when he gets near them, charging to prick him with their pointed ears. They can only be killed by charging at them, due to the chest-plates they wear to absorb flames.
