Jackals are dog-like enemies that are only found in the Haunted Tomb.
They are dark blue and wear chest-plates to absorb flames and are usually statue-like when they blink and look around. If Spyro gets too close to them, they will come alive and attack him, as they charge toward him and attempt to poke him with their pointed ears, and only be killed by charging at them, due to the chest-plates they wear to absorb flames.
