The Balloonists are a group of characters in Spyro the Dragon. They assist Spyro in traveling between the Home Worlds. ==Biography==
The Balloonists assist Spyro in traveling between the home worlds. There is a Balloonist in each world, and each one has their own hot air balloon that they will allow Spyro to use to access the next Dragon World if he meets a certain criteria, such as by rescuing a certain number of Dragons or by retrieving either a certain amount of treasure or Dragon Eggs.

Balloonists all wear a leather flight helmet and cover most of their face except their eyes with a scarf. Each balloonist can be distinguished by the color of their clothes. It is unknown what species they are, although they do resemble the Gnorcs in the level Gnorc Cove because they also cover their face with a scarf.
