Metal Vases are a fire-resistant type of gem-filled container that needs to be charged in order to be broken open and collect the gems inside. Some metal vases are wrapped in firework explosives, similar to the Explosive Chests. They need to be flamed in order to break them open automatically. Metal vases appear throughout the Spyro series, and are later making a reappearance in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure.
