Snail Rhinos are native residents in Mystic Marsh. Are a exotic example of the Avalar fauna.
Description
They are a combination of a snail and a rhinoceros. They are somehow related to Snail Elephants, another creature that lives in the same world.
Had a purple shell with a metallic coating and ever had a angry (or angustied) face.
Attack
As seen, about more than half of their shell is metallic which causes it to be immune to Spyro's flame. Aside from superflame, only charging them will defeat them. If Spyro gets too close to them, they will jab at him with their horns.

Trivia
- These are the first enemies in the Spyro series to resemble rhinos (the second being the Rhynocs).
- The Snail Rhinos bear a resemblance to the Helmasaurs from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
- In the original game, the shells are tall; and in the remake, the shells are slightly shorter and cover more of the rhinos.
