Nancy

Template:Characterbox Nancy is a female polar bear who only appeared in Icy Peak in Spyro: Year of the Dragon. She is an ice dancer whose goal is to win gold at the Olympics. However, she cannot practice, as Hockey-Playing Rhynocs tend to bully her by entering the arena whenever she dances and whacks her with their sticks.

Role

Nancy was to perform a show one night in front of an audience, but Rhynocs tend to whack her whenever she starts dancing. Spyro, after paying Moneybags a whole chunk of Gems just to enter the arena, met her and served as her bodyguard during the performance, taking out any rhynocs who got near her.

After the show, the audience threw roses at Spyro and Nancy, but one of the judges didn't like Nancy's performance and threw a Dragon Egg at her. As a thank-you gift, Nancy gave the egg to Spyro, then thought of him as her partner at the next Olympics.

In the Epilogue, Nancy was able to win a Gold Medal at the Olympics at last, beating out two Rhynocs.

Trivia

• It is presumed that it was Moneybags who threw the Dragon Egg at Nancy, as he hinted that he was one of the judges for Nancy's ice-skating show.
