Trivia

  • Sparx is one of the two known characters, besides Spyro, from the classic series to appear in Skylanders.
  • Fans thought Sparx wasn't going to be in Skylanders until he was first mentioned by Skylanders' Creative Director, Paul Reiche III, in a GameReactor interview, and a picture of him was later revealed on the webgame of Skylanders: Spyro's Universe.
  • He and Spyro are the only characters to appear in all the games (with the exception of The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon mobile game).
  • Sparx's role as a magic item is similar to the role of his Classic counterpart who regains the health of the main playable character by eating butterflies.
