Tech is an element introduced in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. The Skylanders who possess this element are associated with using techonology as their weapons, and they have an advantage against Skylanders and enemies who wield the element of Magic. The color of this element is orange.
When opening a Tech Gate, the Tech skylander activates hidden machinery to extend a bridge they can then walk across.
Tech-based Skylanders stand on a pedestal that consists of a pile of black gears when they're in their toy form.
