- Hex is also a word meaning the practice of witchcraft.
- Hex's ears are much different from other elf characters such as Stealth Elf and Flameslinger, which is most likely a trait of dark elves which are most likely a subspecies of elf.
- She bears a slight resemblence to Maleficent from Disney's Sleeping Beauty.
