Template:Characterbox Snail-Elephants are native residents in Mystic Marsh. They are a combination of a snail and an elephant. From a distance, they appear as a snail shell with tusks and a trunk protruding out of it. But when approached, they become large elephants and charge over Spyro. Like all big enemies, the only way to defeat them is to flame them.
In the original game Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!, the elephants have a simple design with lean legs. While in their shells, the shells seem to be a little big until they emerge and the shells shrink a bit. In the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, they are more hefty in build with some hair on their heads. The shells retain their size whether the elephants are inside or outside of their shells.

Trivia
- They are the first enemy pachyderms in the series, with mammoths being the second.
- In the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, their appearance slightly resembles Tantor from Disney's 1999 film, Tarzan.
