Template:CharacterboxMonkeys are minor foes in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!, found in Scorch. They have escaped from the Avalar Zoo and are found hanging from the palm trees, throwing coconuts at anyone that gets near them.
Hunter the Cheetah challenges Spyro by instructing him to charge at the trees making them fall, letting Hunter catch them in a basket. Hunter rewards Spyro with an Orb for his efforts.
Trivia
- If Spyro is too fast, the monkeys will hit the ground and simply bounce up back in the tree again. If Spyro is too slow, the monkey will throw a coconut at Hunter, making him start the challenge over.
