The Jackhammer Rhynocs are Rhynocs that appeared in the Enchanted Towers, a realm in Spyro: Year of the Dragon. They are purple rhynocs that wear an orange vest and yellow safety helmet like those worn by builders. They are always seen riding around on jackhammers, chasing Spyro or Sgt. Byrd, but can be defeated in any way (depending on who is under control by the player).
