Template:PlaceOriginalSpider Town is the second Sparx Realm in Spyro: Year of the Dragon and in the Reignited Trilogy remaster of the third game. It can be accessed in the Midday Gardens homeworld after defeating Spike and completing Crawdad Farm.
Story
After defeating Spike, completing Crawdad Farm, and returning to Midday Gardens, Zoe tells Spyro that she found another egg that Sparx is able to get. Like the previous level, Sparx will have to fight his way through enemies, open pathways, and confront a boss who will have the egg.
The realm, as the name suggests, is full of spiders. There are two main kinds: small and medium. Small spiders can die from a single shot, but more always come from flowerpots until they are destroyed. Medium spiders need many shots before they die and they attack by using a fiery aura.
The main boss of this realm is the spider king. Defeating the king in the original game will grant Sparx the ability to find gems for Spyro by pressing the L1, L2, R1 and R2 buttons at the same time. When pressed, Sparx will point to any treasure still hanging around. In the Reignited Trilogy, there is no bonus for defeating the king, as this ability is already available at the start of the game.
