Sunken Ruins was a realm in the Lost Cities home world in the game, Spyro: A Hero's Tail. It is a sunken city complete with aquatic creatures and enemy aquatic gnorcs. The state of the hidden city is in disarray, but statues show its ancient history was not that of dragons but gnorcs.
There is also a friendly mermaid of humanoid appearance, which suggests the realm has friendly sentient beings, not just gnorcs.
It also featured the invincibility powerup.
