Template:Characterbox Buffalo Beetles are giant, scorpion-like creatures ridden by Ape riders. They are found only in Munitions Forge in The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning.
The Buffalo Beetles attack by using either their pincers, tails, or by firing streams of fire from their stingers. Although they are resistant against Fire, they are very weak against Earth and Ice.

- An enemy similar to the Buffalo Beetle, called a Blundertail, appears in The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night, only this one can shoot cannonballs instead of flame balls.
