Nina (The Legend of Spyro)

Template:Youmay Template:Characterbox Template:Q Nina is a pink dragonfly who is Sparx's mother and Spyro's adoptive mother in The Legend of Spyro series. Along with her husband, Flash, she lives in the Swamp.

Story

The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning

Flash and Nina both discovered Spyro's egg when it came to rest in the Swamp and gathered around the egg, wondering what kind of creature could be inside. Shortly afterwards, Spyro hatched from that very egg, and although Flash and Nina were frightened at first, they were amazed by the baby dragon. They adopted Spyro into their family and raised him alongside their son, Sparx, who was born on the same day as Spyro.

Twelve years later, after Spyro and Sparx escaped from their scuffle with Apes, they told Flash and Nina about the encounter, and the two dragonflies were prompted to explain to Spyro the truth on what he really was and where he came from. Flash and Nina later followed after Spyro in time to see him off when he decided to find out where he came from, with Nina encouraging Spyro to not listen to Flash's preaching about Spyro's gift coming with a price and just be himself.

The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night

Flash and Nina made a cameo in one of the pages of Spyro's book that was written by the Chronicler, happily watching a young Sparx hatching.

• ADVICE: The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon is the only Legend game to also have a Finnish, Danish, Swedish and Norwegian audio dubbing track. Therefore, Since Nina does not appear in that game, she does not have those following language voices.

• She and Cynder are the only two female characters in The Legend of Spyro series.
