Leviathans (リバイアサン Ribaiasan in Japanese) are docile sea creatures who dwell in the oceans of the Dragon Realms, only appearing in first two chapters of the Legend of Spyro series. They resemble giant sea turtles.
The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning
During Spyro's first flight to Dante's Freezer, a huge friendly Leviathan guides Spyro towards Dante's Freezer as he travels over the sea.
The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night

The same Leviathan appears again, saving Spyro from possible drowning when he enters a dream in mid-flight after defeating Skabb. It brings him to the White Isle where The Chronicler lives. Once there, he was thanked by Sparx as it swims off back to sea.
