The Mounted Ghouls are Ghouls or Spector Ghouls who ride an armoured steed. The Mounted Ghouls from Dante's Freezer appear in The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning. They ride large sized musk oxen and guard the entrance through the spector gate.

They appear along with the other ghouls in Dante's Freezer. They do not help the Apes but they were great servants to the Ice King.
