The Mounted Ghouls are Ghouls or Spector Ghouls who ride an armoured steed. The Mounted Ghouls first appeared in Dante's Freezer in The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning. They ride large sized musk oxen and guard the entrance through the spector gate.
Appearances
A New Beginning
They appear along with the other ghouls in Dante's Freezer. They do not help the Apes but they were great servants to the Ice King. (To see more on Animals).
The Eternal Night
The Mounted Ghouls, along with Ghouls and Specter Ghouls, appears again in The Eternal Night at the Well of Souls. They are possibly the souls who turned evil and were allowed to roam the halls of the mountain when the Night of Eternal Darkness was near.
