Overview

The Shattered Vale, although never properly seen, is implied to be a region that is within a considerable proximity to the Mountain of Malefor. Story

After the raid on the Dragon Temple at the beginning of The Eternal Night, Ignitus, upon realizing the imminence of the Night of Eternal Darkness, sends Terrador to the Shattered Vale to warm the inhabitants of the forthcoming danger. Due to the close proximity of the region to the Well of Souls, the population was most likely evacuated from the area due to Terrador's warning.
