The catapult was used as a weapon, appearing in The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon. A Mole controlled the catapult to fend off Malefor's Army. Every once in a while, Spyro and Cynder will have to fix and reload the catapult, and they also will need to fend off the catapult from the attacking Grublins. Eventually, you will have to leave the catapult for a moment to destroy the Seige Towers. Also, at some point, the mole will get shot off the catapult and Spyro and Cynder will have to guide him safely back to it.
