Trivia
- Sparx is one of the two known characters, besides Spyro, from the classic series to appear in Skylanders.
- Fans thought Sparx wasn't going to be in Skylanders until he was first mentioned by Skylanders' Creative Director, Paul Reiche III, in a GameReactor interview, and a picture of him was later revealed on the webgame of Skylanders: Spyro's Universe.
- He and Spyro are the only characters to appear in all the games (with the exception of The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon mobile game).
- Sparx's role as a magic item is similar to the role of his Classic counterpart, except the Skylander eats the butteflies to regain health instead of Sparx.
- Sparx's ability to breathe fireballs also references his classic counterpart in the original series, who also attacks by breathing fireballs.
- He also communicates by buzzing, much like his Classic counterpart.
