For the Trolls in The Legend of Spyro, see Trolls (LoS)

Trolls are playful little creatures that inhabit Cloud Temples (mostly). Some trolls are in alligance with the Dragons and will not harm Spyro...however, some are not.

Some trolls are hatched from eggs created by Scorch (enemy) They serve him. The trolls Spyro combats when facing Scorch differ significantly from the friendly ones in Cloud Temples. They seem to be made entirely of fire! This particullar species of troll is called a Burning Smiley. A troll can only fight with self-destruct. For some unknown reason the trolls in Cloud Temples have flaming backsides which cannot be doused (even when the troll is frozen). If you kill a troll, it will drop a lava rock for you to use.
