Core of Light

Template:Items (Skylanders) Template:SkylandersWikia The Core of Light is an ancient machine created by the Ancients that appears in the console versions of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. It is powered by all of the elements and was constructed using various items from the whole of Skylands. In the game, the Core of Light is located in the hub world known as the Ruins, and will be reconstructed one by one as each of the Eternal Sources is restored to the machine.

Story

Skylanders: The Beginning

When Kaos approached with his army of minions, the Skylanders gathered at the Core of Light to defend it. However, the heroes were overpowered, allowing Kaos to destroy the Core of Light; its destruction blowing all of the Skylanders out of Skylands and into the void of space where they will reach Earth.

Spyro's Adventure

For centuries, the Core of Light enriched the world of Skylands and holding back The Darkness, until Kaos returned from his exile and destroyed the Core using his Hydra. One of the two main goals of Spyro's Adventure is to restore the Core of Light in order to repel The Darkness away once again.
